First Half: Navas heads onto the far post. Negredo puts an effort wide of the far post. Sterling has a goal ruled out for offside. Goal! 0-1, Coutinho puts Liverpool ahead after rounding Hart and slotting home into an open goal following Sterling's through ball. Goal! 1-1, Kompany levels for City with a header into the centre of the goal following a corner. Coutinho has an effort really well saved by Hart. Negredo has a shot blocked wide of the near post. Second Half: Henderson has a close range shot blocked by Hart. Negredo has a long range chip saved. Henderson has a backheel flick saved from close range. Sterling misses a great chance from close range over the bar.
Full Time: 2-1.

My Opinion:
My man of the match was Fernandinho. City comeback to beat Liverpool. After a very close and entertaining game, City proved that their confidence would prevail. Their home form has been terrific and it carried them through a really close encounter. Liverpool started really strongly and were unlucky not to have been given an earlier goal as Sterling was wrongly ruled offside. It was a soft winning goal to concede and Mignolet really should have done a better job than he did. Liverpool probably deserved to take a point from the game but it just wasn't to be.

West Ham United 1 v 3 Arsenal Cole (46), Walcott (68, 71), Podolski (79)
First Half: Walcott volleys wide from close range. Giroud drags a low shot wide of the far post.
Half Time: 0-0.
Second Half: Goal! 1-0, Cole puts the Hammers in front after tapping in from close range a parried shot from Nolan. O'Brien heads wide of the far post. Cole fires an effort wide of the far post. Both Cazorla and Ozil are denied from long range. Goal! 1-1, Walcott levels for Arsenal after cutting inside and firing a low shot straight through the keeper. Goal! 1-2, Walcott puts Arsenal in front after heading in Podolski's cross. Podolski has a close range shot saved. Goal! 1-3, Podolski scores from the edge of the box with a low lashed shot into the bottom corner.
Full Time: 1-3.

My Opinion:
My man of the match was Podolski. Arsenal comeback to beat the Hammers. West Ham played really well and even took the lead. However, they just couldn't hang on for long enough and eventually they were undone by Arsenal's constant attacking football. It was a slow start to the game for Arsenal who struggled for large parts of the game. However, bringing Podolski on really changed the game. Walcott scored twice in three minutes before Podolski capped off a fine twenty minutes with a goal of his own.

Hull City 2 v 3 Manchester United Chester (4), Meyler (13), Smalling (19), Rooney (26), Chester OG (66)
First Half: Goal! 1-0, Chester puts Hull ahead after converting into the roof of the net from close range following Bruce winning a header from a corner. Goal! 2-0, Meyler doubles the lead with a low shot that deflects off Evans and over De Gea. Goal! 2-1, Smalling scores after heading into the near side from a Rooney free kick. Welbeck has a header that deflects wide of the post. Cleverley has a long range curling shot parried away from the top corner. Goal! 2-2, Rooney levels for United with a stunning volley into the near side from the edge of the box.
Half Time: 2-2.
Second Half: Huddlestone has a long range driven shot deflected wide of the post. Bruce heads onto the post from a corner. Goal! 2-3, Chester scores an own goal after heading in from Young's cross. Red Card! Valencia is shown a second yellow card for kicking the ball away. Chester has a shot saved. Bruce scuffs a shot wide of the post.
Full Time: 2-3.

My Opinion:
My man of the match was Rooney. United comeback to claim vital win. Hull started the game really well and managed to give themselves a two goal lead. However, they were unable to hold on for at least a point as they were undone by two decent goals and an own goal. United really needed to find something special after a terrible start. Luckily, they got themselves back on level terms before half time and it was inevitable that they would go on to win from there.

Newcastle United 5 v 1 Stoke City Assaidi (29), Remy (44, 56), Gouffran (48), Cabaye (66), Cisse (80 pen)
First Half: Goal! 0-1, Assaidi puts Stoke in front with a curling shot into the far top corner. Red Card! Whelan is sent off for a second yellow card. Penalty! Half Time: 1-1.
Second Half: Goal! 2-1, Gouffran puts Newcastle in front with a low shot into the far bottom corner. Ben Arfa strikes against the far post. Goal! 3-1, Remy scores after heading in from close range at the far post. Ben Arfa smashes a shot against the crossbar from close range. Goal! 4-1, Cabaye scores from the edge of the box into the near side. Penalty! Ben Arfa is fouled inside the box by Pieters. Goal! Cisse scores from the post into the top corner.
Full Time: 5-1.

My Opinion:
My man of the match was Remy. Newcastle run rampant over nine men Stoke. The game changed massively in favour of Newcastle as Stoke had two players sent off before half time. It was a matter of just getting the job done and once they took the lead, the floodgates opened. Stoke started the game well and managed to take the lead. However, two red cards is just poor discipline and from then on it was a real struggle.

Everton 0 v 1 Sunderland Ki (25 pen)
First Half: Oviedo has a long range strike saved. Penalty! Howard fouls Ki inside the box and is shown a straight red card. Goal! 0-1, Ki scores from the spot into the bottom corner. Cetluska has a low shot parried away. Larsson has a shot saved.
Half Time: 0-1.
Second Half: Jagielka has a header saved. Barkley has a long range shot parried away. Oviedo has a long range blast well parried away. Fletcher drags a low shot wide of the far post. Barkley has a free kick really well parried away. Jelavic has a header cleared off the line.
Full Time: 0-1.

My Opinion:
My man of the match was Mannone. Sunderland shock Everton to claim win. Everton had so many chances but were constantly denied by Mannone who was having one of the games of his life. Suderland took their chance well and did really well to hold on for a vital win.

Cardiff City 0 v 3 Southampton Rodriguez (14, 20), Lambert (27)
First Half: Whittingham fires a close range volley over the bar. Goal! 0-1, Rodriguez puts Southampton ahead after slotting home from Lallana's pass. Goal! 0-2, Rodriguez scores again with a close range low shot through the keeper. Goal! 0-3, Lambert scores after chesting the ball down and firing a low shot from close range into the centre of goal. Taylor has a long range deflected shot parried away.
Half Time: 0-3.
Second Half: Very little happened during the second half and thus there is not much to discuss here.
Full Time: 0-3.

My Opinion:
My man of the match was Rodriguez. Southampton cruise past Cardiff. Medel was sorely missed in midfield for Cardiff who just didn't get going. It was a really strong performance from Southampton who took full advantage of scoring three goals in the opening half an hour.

Chelsea 1 v 0 Swansea City Hazard (29)
First Half: Terry has a volley tipped over the bar. Terry has an effort cleared off the line. Goal! 1-0, Hazard puts Chelsea ahead after cutting inside and scoring from the edge of the box with a low shot under the keeper. Vazquez sends an effort over the bar. Eto'o has a close range effort saved.
Half Time: 1-0.
Second Half: Eto's is denied from close range by a great save. Lampard has a low driven shot from the edge of the box well saved from the bottom corner.
Full Time: 1-0.

My Opinion:
My man of the match was Hazard. Chelsea get the job done. It was a decent performance from Chelsea who deserved to win. Hazard was instrumental in all things good that Chelsea accomplished and rightly scored the winning goal. Swansea didn't create many chances themselves but have their keeper to thank for keeping the score down.

Norwich City 1 v 2 Fulham Hooper (13), Kasami (33), Parker (87)
First Half: Goal! 1-0, Hooper puts Norwich ahead with a long range strike that takes a huge deflection over the keeper. Duff puts an effort wide of the far post from close range. Goal! 1-1, Kasami levels for Fulham with a low free kick that finds the bottom corner.
Half Time: 1-1.
Second Half: Redmond has a driven shot from long range deflected over the bar. Fer has a header cleared off the line. Goal! 1-2, Parker puts Fulham ahead with a long range strike into the near side.
Full Time: 1-2.

My Opinion:
My man of the match was Parker. Fulham comeback to win at Carrow Road. Norwich failed to create many chances and paid the price. They did well to take an early lead but they were unable to hold on for a point. Fulham really needed to win and they did. A huge result for Fulham that they really deserved after a strong and determined fightback from 1-0 down.

Aston Villa 0 v 1 Crystal Palace Gayle (90)
First Half: El Ahmadi has a long range strike deflected over the bar. Kozak has a header cleared off the line.
Half Time: 0-0.
Second Half: Weimann has an effort saved. Bannan has a low shot parried onto the post. Weimann blasts an effort over the bar. Puncheon has a low shot saved at the near post. Barry has a header saved. Goal! 0-1, Gayle puts Palace ahead with a wondrous strike from the edge of the box into the far top corner.
Full Time: 0-1.

My Opinion:
My man of the match was Gayle. Gayle steals a late winner for Palace. Villa were in the game but failed to take one of their chances. However, they should have taken a draw but were beaten by a wonder goal. Vital win for Palace who claimed an important three points away from home. Gayle came off the bench and scored a deserving winning goal in the dying minutes.

Tottenham Hotspur 1 v 1 West Bromich Albion Eriksen (36), Olsson (38)
First Half: Vydra has an effort parried behind. Goal! 1-0, Eriksen puts Spurs ahead with a free kick that goes in via the underside of the bar. Goal! 1-1, Olsson levels for West Brom from close range by chipping over the keeper from close range following a free kick.
Half Time: 1-1.
Second Half: Rose strikes just over the bar from long range. Walker has a long range strike parried away. Soldado heads just wide of the far post.
Full Time: 1-1.

My Opinion:
My man of the match was Eriksen. Olsson claims draw at White Hart Lane. Spurs looked the more likely to take the lead and they did. However, they paid for conceding so soon after scoring. Plenty of chances came forth for Spurs but they just couldn't find that second goal. The Baggies will be pleased to come away with a point and did well to level things back up so quickly after Spurs scored.

Best Goal: Walcott, Podolski, Rooney, Cabaye, Hazard, Parker, Assaidi, Gayle, Eriksen. Winner: Rooney
