Super Sunday Game Week 17

Southampton 2 v 3 Tottenham Hotspur Lallana (13), Adebayor (25, 64), Hooiveld (54, OG), Lambert (59)
First Half: Goal! 1-0, Lallana puts Saints in front with a low long range shot that finds the bottom near corner. Rodriguez curls a shot over the far top corner. Goal! 1-1, Adebayor levels for Spurs with a close range volley from a Soldado cross.
Half Time: 1-1.

Goal! 2-3, Adebayor puts Spurs back in front with a close range low shot into the far bottom corner. Soldado drags a low shot wide of the far post. Soldado puts a close range effort wide of the post. Lambert puts an effort over the bar.
Full Time: 2-3.

My Opinion:
My man of the match was Adebayor. Adebayor double enough to see Spurs seal victory. Southampton played well but it was defensive errors that really cost them today as they conceded three goals at home. Sherwood has really got Spurs to play the way they used to under Redknapp with the attacking style portrayed today. Adebayor was inspired and rightly scored the winning goal.

Swansea City 1 v 2 Everton Coleman (66), Oviedo (70, OG), Barkley (84)
First Half: Mirallas has a shot saved at the near post. Bony flashes a shot over the bar from the edge of the box.
Half Time: 0-0.
Second Half: Barkley has a driven shot parried onto the bar from the edge of the box. Goal! 0-1, Coleman puts Everton ahead with a long range driven shot into the near side. Goal! 1-1, Tiendalli has an effort that rebounds off Oviedo and into the far corner. Vazquez has a chipped shot saved. Goal! 1-2, Barkley puts Everton back in front with a stunning free kick that goes in via the underside of the bar. Lamah has a long range volley parried over the bar.
Full Time: 1-2.

My Opinion:
My man of the match was Barkley. Everton take three points after Barkley stunner. Swansea played well but were just beaten by two world class goals. Everton were strong throughout the match and deserved to win but what a way to win with two brilliant strikes.

Best Goal: Lallana, Adebayor, Barkley, Coleman. Winner: Barkley
