Aegon Championships (Queen's Club): Day 6: Semi Finals

Murray to meet Cilic in Queen's Club Final

Andy Murray fought back from a set down to beat the dangerous Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in three sets to make the Final. It was an even opening set but Tsonga piled the pressure on the Murray serve in game nine to convert the first break of serve in the match to take a 5-4 lead. Tsonga was able to hold his serve as the Frenchman took the opening set. Murray battled back in the second set and managed to break the Tsonga serve at 3-3. Murray was able to hold his serve for the remainder of the set to level the match. With the momentum in Murray's favour heading into the deciding set, Murray converted an early break which was compounded by a second break of serve to take the third set 6-2.
Murray will face last year's winner in the Final, Marin Cilic. The big Croatian defeated a rejuvenated Lleyton Hewitt in their Semi Final in three sets. Cilic took the first set after breaking the Hewitt serve before Hewitt managed to break the Cilic serve in the second set to level the close encounter. It was Cilic who prevailed in the deciding set, as two breaks of serve was enough to see the Croatian enter the Final for a second consecutive year.
