French Open: Day 7 - Third Round

Djokovic, Nadal, Sharapova and Azarenka all progress to fourth round

Rafael Nadal came across a dangerous opponent in Fabio Fognini but was able to battle out the rallies to go through in straight sets. Everybody thought that the match of the day would be Novak Djokovic against Grigor Dimitrov who is one of the rising stars in the game. However, Djokovic calmly strolled past Dimitrov whilst only dropping seven games. Maria Sharapova avoided a scare against Zheng to progress in straight sets whilst Victoria Azarenka fought back from a set down to knock out Alize Cornet.
