Aegon Championships (Queen's Club): Day 7: Final

Andy Murray wins the Aegon Championships at Queen's Club

Andy Murray defeated Marin Cilic in the Final to claim the Queen's Club Title. It was another impressive performance from the British number one who will gain plenty of confidence going into Wimbledon. It was a great start to the match from Murray who took a 4-1 lead after breaking Cilic's opening service game. However, Cilic battled back and broke the Murray serve twice to take the opening set 7-5. It was another close set in the second before Murray managed to convert a vital break of serve to level the Final at one set apiece. It was Murray who showed the more aggression in the final set which eventually paid off as one break of serve was enough to win the match and the trophy.

Final Result:

Performance of the Tournament: Lleyton Hewitt deserves huge credit for making the Semi Finals. Hewitt took some huge wins out of this tournament, especially defeating Juan Martin Del Potro in style. It will give the Australian massive belief that he can have a good run at Wimbledon this year.
