Southampton 0 v 0 West Ham
Jussi Jaaskalainen pulled off a string of fine saves to deny Southampton from getting the winning goal. It was a fairly mundane game as both teams failed to create many chances. Rickie Lambert came the closest to getting the winner but his shot bounced back off the post. The game was largely dominated by Southampton but a stunning performance from West Ham goalkeeper Jaskalainen proved to be the difference between the two sides after multiple top saves kept West Ham in the game and ultimately gave them a point.
My Opinion:
My man of the match was Jussi Jaskalainen for somehow keeping a clean sheet. Southampton will be disappointed to not have come away with a win as they dominated the game completely. West Ham didn't turn up and created nothing during the entire match. Jaskalainen just had one of those games where he saved anything and everything.
